Jennifer Benavides, Associate Attorney

Jennifer Benavides is an Associate Attorney at Hatch Rockers Immigration in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she practices immigration law. She is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).


Jennifer is a second-generation American and a first-generation college student. Jennifer graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University, where she majored in Political Science and Religion and minored in Philosophy. Jennifer was a Magnolia Scholar and competed in intercollegiate policy debate.

Jennifer graduated from Elon University School of Law on December 13, 2024, the same day as her birthday. In law school, Jennifer was a Leadership Fellow, Moot Court team member, Teacher's Assistant in civil procedure, and a student mentor. Jennifer also served on the board of the Hispanic Law Student Association and First Generation Society. Jennifer interned at the North Carolina Court of Appeals during her 2L year and in the Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic during her 3L year. During the summers, Jennifer interned with A.G. Linett and Associates and the Farmworker Unit at Legal Aid of North Carolina.



Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys working out, making social media content, and hanging out with friends. One of Jennifer's goals is to complete a pull-up. As a daughter of immigrants, Jennifer is excited and dedicated to helping other migrants navigate the immigration process.
